Independent Age is a registered charity which supports older people so they can live independently at home. It provides pastoral care, financial assistance and befriending.

The Universal Beneficent Society, UBS, provides friendship and fianancial support to the most disadvantaged and isolated older people, especially those living alone in inner-city areas. UBS supports those in need without distinction of class, creed, nationality or sect.
